Ackera Nugent made history by smashing the national record with a jaw-dropping time of 12.28s in the women’s 100mh, securing first place. Right behind her, world champion Danielle Williams blazed through with 12.53s, and Janeek Brown made an incredible comeback to clinch third place with a time of 12.61s.
Shericka Jackson defended her national 200m title with an outstanding season-best time of 22.29s. Lanelae-Tava Thomas delivered a personal best of 22.34s, earning her first Olympic team spot, while Niesha Burgher seized third place with 22.39s.
In a thrilling men’s 200m final, Bryan Levell claimed victory with a sensational personal best time of 19.97s. Andrew Hudson came incredibly close in second with 20.02s, and Javari Thomas secured his first Olympic team spot with a time of 20.32s.
